About these terms
These terms apply to use of the Jace Medical website. Separate booking, consent, payment, cancellation or treatment terms may apply to a particular clinical, ambulance, employer or hospital service. Where separate terms are provided, they form part of the agreement for that service.
Website information
The website provides general information about Jace services and pathways. It is not a diagnosis, prescription or substitute for advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional. Service descriptions, availability, timescales and prices may change and are only confirmed when the team accepts a booking or issues a quotation.
Emergencies
This website and its contact form are not monitored as an emergency service. Call 999 or 112, or contact the appropriate local emergency service, if someone is seriously ill, injured or in immediate danger. Planned ambulance services shown on this website do not replace an emergency response.
Enquiries and bookings
Submitting a form does not create a confirmed appointment or guarantee that a service is clinically appropriate. A booking is confirmed only when Jace provides confirmation. You must provide accurate contact, identity and relevant health information through the channel requested by the team.
Clinical suitability
A clinician may need to assess suitability before testing, treatment, medication, travel or a procedure can proceed. Jace may recommend a different pathway, request additional information, postpone a service or decline to provide it where this is necessary for safety, professional standards or service limitations.
Prices and payment
Any price shown online is indicative unless clearly stated otherwise. The final price, inclusions and payment arrangements are confirmed for the relevant service. Third-party laboratory, pharmacy, consultant, hospital, travel or external-provider charges may be subject to their own terms.
Cancellations and changes
Cancellation, rescheduling and refund arrangements depend on the service and will be explained during booking. Tell the team as early as possible if you cannot attend. Jace may need to change an appointment because of clinical, staffing, operational or safety circumstances and will contact you using the details provided.
Third-party services and links
The website may link to Jace Private Hospital, laboratories, pharmacies, booking services, maps or other external websites. Jace is not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of an external website. A link does not remove the need to review that provider’s own terms.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, submit unlawful or harmful material, impersonate another person, or use automated systems in a way that places an unreasonable burden on the service.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website design, branding, written content and original materials belong to Jace Medical or are used with permission. You may view and print information for personal use but may not reproduce, sell or republish it commercially without permission.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Jace is not responsible for loss caused by reliance on general website information, unavailable external services, or circumstances outside reasonable control. These website terms do not limit duties owed in the delivery of healthcare.
Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in the Jace Medical Privacy Notice. Avoid including detailed medical information in the general contact form; the team will advise on an appropriate channel when sensitive information is needed.
Concerns and complaints
If you have a concern about a Jace service, contact the team promptly so it can be reviewed through the appropriate clinical or organisational complaints process. Independent escalation routes may also apply depending on the service.
Law and updates
These website terms are governed by the applicable law of Northern Ireland, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live. Jace may update these terms when services, technology or legal requirements change. The current version displayed here applies to use of the website.
